Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Updates, and such

Hey everybody! ~the-wasd-man here with a few updates on what's going on.

You might of noticed a lack of submission updates recently, well, don't worry, we're not slowly dying, I just got caught up with, well, the real world there for a little while. But all is well now, and I uploaded all of your submissions and even added quite a few new members to our club! Welcome!

Anyways,I was thinking about instituting a "submission day" of sorts, so that instead of just updating the gallery on a semi-random basis, I would do it once a week (say Saturday). So instead of getting a few jumbled updates, you'd get a bunch of them at (almost) the same time. Plus it would be a good way to remind me to do the uploads.

I just wanted to know your thoughts on that, so leave a comment!

Also, just letting you know that our submission pack is still running. We didn't get too many submissions, so if anyone was feeling like submitting something, well, you still can! And please do!

More Updates and Such!

This time, ~Lizzys reporting! Well, we are now officially over two years old and running stronger than ever. Way back in the day, I had once said we would choose a senior member once every 6 months, and that is (rather obviously) long overdue. So, in the next coming week, please keep in mind that we are watching you and will be choosing at least two new senior members to make up for missed months.

In more boring news, I made the rest of the journals look just as pretty as this one. Yay?
