You must be an active member of the club for some time - meaning you contribute to the gallery, comment on fellow club member's works, and show just some general interest. If you've only been a member of the club for two days, don't bother applying. We will likely look at your application, however chances are extremely slim that you will be selected. The current staff here must recognize that you are a worthy addition to the club and will not take your Admin promotion for granted.

By applying to any part the Staff, you will be entrusted with the password to the club. If you are caught giving it out for any reason, you will be immediately removed from the admin (and possibly entire club depending on severity). We have divided the staff into sections, so there are specific jobs to apply for.

To note, we would like to have at least one staff member for all of the below. We are now a pretty prominent group and there is an overload of things that need to be taken care of around here.

Admins: Process notes, new members, submissions, take care of misplaced favorites, answer questions, update journals, bring new ideas to the community, etc..

Member Inducers: Pretty self-explanatory position; take care of anyone wishing to join our community. Add new members to our watch, journal, and chat, and go through the message center and double check if new watchers just wanted to watch or wanted to join (you'd be amazed how many people watch us and think that means they're a part of the club now).

Submissions Department: This section of staff will probably require the largest number of people, due to the fact that it is the most time consuming job (right after admin...). The submissions department will be commiting their time to uploading submissions from our members to the gallery, as well as taking care of gallery clean ups.

Half of the time, people just want to be part of the staff for the recognition. However, we will notice, and if you aren't being helpful to us at all, you will be demoted. It isn't worth anyone's time or the hassle to have an staff spot filled with someone doing nothing for the club. We will remove you from our staff and replace you with someone who we hope will put some use to the spot you left. If sometime later down the line you manage to prove yourself worthy again, we will hold no hard feelings against you and reconsider you for a staff position. Another reason for demotion would be giving out the club or email password. If we happen to find out, you will be immediately removed from the club staff and further punishment will be discussed depending on the damage done. If this is the case, you will not ever be allowed to return to position on our staff.

If you no longer have the time to contribute to the =Space-Club you are welcome to remove yourself from the staff. If you were helpful during your time, you will be added to a former staff list, so you continue to get the respect you deserve. If you ever decide to return to the staff, you will be considered before other applicants, provided you did your job well previously.

It is very hard to make a decision based on applications with one word responses to the above questions, we would like to get to know you slightly before you stick you in our staff. Other things to note - if you can only commit an hour a day, it doesn't mean we won't pick you. If you have no prior staff experience, it doesn't mean we won't pick you either.
