We had a few people suggest releasing themed wallpaper packs, so we're going to give it a try. This journal will consist of requirements for entering a piece into our packs, information about present, past, and upcoming packs, etc...

We're coming up with ways to pick the next theme, for now =Lizzys has just been using very generic ones, but we could open a poll with a few ideas and a place for input and suggestions.

Theme: Winter
Submission due date: December 20th

First, make sure this is a piece that shows your utmost talent, creativity, and uniqueness. We want a diverse pack that shows your best!

Next, make sure it meets all the submission requirements (explained below). We will be going through all submissions and clearing out ones that don't meet the requirements.

Finally, send us a note with the subject PACK SUBMISSION. This note just needs to include a link to your piece, and we will do the rest!

Dimensions: 1600 x 1200 pixels. Always. This is a pretty large sized desktop, but it makes it easier for people with smaller desktops to scale them down to fit.

Themes are not just put there as a suggestion. If your pack submission doesn't follow the theme, its not going to be put in the pack. In general the theme will be pretty vague and allow you to use a lot of creativity. For example, the current theme, Winter, could simply be inclusion of cool colors.

Due Dates aren't really set in stone. If you send in your submission a day late, we can probably still include it, so don't fret too much. We'd like to have the Winter Pack out by January 1st.
