About... Eternal Reminiscence is a new contest series started to motivate you to unleash your creativity for the creation of amazing new art in regards of the Science Fiction and Space world.

First off, it would appear that over the past couple of months people have been submitting extremely belated entries into the Death of a Star Bi-Weekly Contest. We finally have enough participants to run the voting. Hooray!

Second, we ran a poll asking for some input to find out why people weren't participating in the bi-weekly contests. The top two responses were "Not Enough Time" and "Didn't Know About It". To fix this, we're going to try implementing two solutions. First, we're going to change Bi-Weekly contests to Monthly contests, so as to extend the length and give members more time to create and submit. The second problem is tricky, as groups cannot submit news articles. We're going to send out a note to all members and suggest that they watch our journal entries if they want to participate in contests. We are only going to do this once so as not to spam everyone.

Many of you probably noticed we recently made the conversion to an official group! We are trying to get things back in order as quick as possible, starting by inviting back all of our original members.

We have also been expanding our group of Senior Members. These members have been chosen because they show dedication to Space Art, unique style, and utmost talent.

In the meantime, we apologize for the conglomeration that will probably stick around here for a while. Hopefully we will be able to start running the Bi-Weekly contests again soon, and if you have any other suggestions for ways to make our group more interactive - please feel free to leave a comment or send a note!

The last poll we held was asking if we should submit news to announce contests and their winners instead of journals. By a huge majority, members said yes. So from this point forward, watch out for news if you want to participate in contests. Of course, we will still have a call out to the winner and what the next contest is in our journal, but voting will take place by news announcements.
